Charkop Crest Realty ("we", "us", "our") operates charkopcrestrealty.com. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled. Browsing and searching listings never requires an account or any personal information at all.
Information we collect
- Guest enquiries: name, email and/or phone number, and any message you submit when enquiring about a property, mortgage assistance, an agent, advertising, or support. We verify a one-time code sent to the email or phone you provide before saving the enquiry.
- Optional account: if you register, we store your name, email, phone (optional), and a securely hashed password -- never the password itself.
- Sign in with Google: if you use "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email address, and whether that email is verified. We do not receive or request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data, and we never see or store your Google password.
- Saved listings and enquiry history: tied to your account if you have one.
- Technical data: IP address and basic request metadata, used only for spam and fraud prevention (rate limiting, duplicate-submission detection) and security logging.
How we use it
- To verify you're a real person before an enquiry, support ticket, or application reaches our team.
- To respond to enquiries and provide the service you asked for.
- To let you save favorite listings and see your own enquiry history, if you have an account.
- To detect and block spam, fraud, and abuse.
What we don't do
We never sell your personal information. We never publish your contact details publicly. Enquiry and account details are only visible to our team through permission-gated internal tools, and are used solely to respond to you -- not shared with third parties for marketing.
Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one for security (CSRF protection). We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party services we rely on
- Google -- only if you choose "Continue with Google" (see above).
- Our email/SMS providers -- to deliver verification codes and notifications you request.
- Google reCAPTCHA (where enabled) -- to help block automated spam submissions.
Security
Passwords and verification codes are stored as salted cryptographic hashes, never in plain text. The site is served over HTTPS, and admin accounts require two-factor authentication.
Your choices
You can update or delete your account information, or ask us to delete data we hold about you, by contacting us at info@charkopcrestrealty.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above.
